Literal Translation

I can normally tell what kind of day we (or should I say "they") are going to have within the first 15 minutes. This morning Gavin started off with the, "I'm five and probably know more than anyone else" attitude.

I responded with, "You have a chip on your shoulder and you need to get rid of it", forgetting of course that I had just corrected the boys a few minutes earlier for playing with the chore chips they earn to purchase prizes.

Gavin began to inspect both shoulders.

It gave me a good belly laugh for the morning. Now to see how the rest of the day goes!
