Yes, my third son is following the trend and is getting his "teefers" early. I'm not sure why or how we started calling them that - I guess all adults revert a little in their language skills when a baby is added to the home. Don't worry, our older two boys know the correct terminology!
Gavin was just shy of five months when he started teething. Peyton was nearer to six months when he started getting teeth. Dawson's first bottom tooth broke through over the weekend while we were away. He will be six months old on the 28th. He did wake up fussing each night, but thankfully it didn't last too long. I think the other center bottom tooth is about to come through as well so there is no rest for the weary (referring to him, of course!). I'm always sad when my little baby gets his first tooth. I really like their toothless grin and of course the risks of nursing with teeth can be a little daunting at times.
If Dawson follows his brothers' leads, he'll have a full set of teeth before he's one!

Wow, that is a little early! Of course, Caleb didn't get any teeth until just before his first birthday -- and then he got four during that same month!
I'm kinda hoping all of our children (should the Lord bless us with anymore) will be late teethers... maybe not that late, though, lol. It would have been nice to start table foods a little sooner (we skipped cereal/jarred foods and just nursed exclusively until those teeth came in).
Thankfully, he never bit me, either. I'm sure I won't always be so lucky, lol!
