Peyton had his two year check up on Monday. He was already caught up on all his shots so he doesn't have to have any more until he is four! Yeah for both of us!
As for having two children who are physically opposite, I have them. Gavin is tall and thin, while Peyton on the other hand, is short and stocky. His stats are holding steady percentile wise. He's thirty-three and a half inches tall (10-25%) and he weighs twenty-nine pounds (50-75%).
There was a little sad news though. I've been concerned about his circ. ever since he was a baby, but the pediatrician always waved it off. We now have a different dr. since the other one left the practice, so I pointed it out to her at this visit. She said she's never seen one like it - it looks like it was never even done (and we paid $425 to have it done!). She wrote us a referral for a urologist b/c it looks like it will need to be redone. My poor baby! Right now I can't get in until Sept. 14th and we were planning to be gone by then. I am going to keep calling to see if there are any cancellations so we can get in sooner. I'm also going to call the dr. back and see if there are any other drs. we could try. I am certainly not looking forward to this procedure!
Other than that, he is as healthy as can be, which is a blessing. We don't have to go back until he is three!

Your poor little guy! It's one thing to botch a dinner order or have to rering a sale at Wal-Mart, but it's quite another to mess up somebody's anatomy! Hopefully you will get an appointment soon & get it taken care of.
I'm grateful that he got good news on all other aspects of his health. As I age (I can't believe I'm typing those words, but it is the truth) I am beginning to realize that good health is a distinct gift from God & should never be taken for granted!
