That's a horrible title, but I can't come up with anything witty or exciting right now!
Yesterday I dragged Gavin to Hobby Lobby with me to buy scrapbook supplies. They had quite a few things at 50% off, which really isn't extraordinary, but it's usually not at the same time. Jason wants to do a presentation at church about our survey trip in the coming weeks and he told me my job is to organize all the pictures.
So today finds me uploading hundreds of pictures, since I not only have our trip to do, but I also have a lot of catching up to do on the boys' pictures. I have not scrapbooked since right before Peyton's birthday in May, so obviously I am seriously behind. One remedy I have found is just not taking pictures, but now I see the lack I have from the summer and it depresses me.
So once I receive the pictures, which hopefully won't be delayed with Christmas orders, I'll begin the long process of getting them all arranged. I am looking forward to getting at it again, but unfortunately my creative juices only run so long before I begin running on fumes. At that point my layouts leave much to be desired and I usually put everything away for weeks on end (now with two children, sometimes months on end).
We'll see how it goes!

Have you tried digital scrapping? My friend, Jenny, is a TLC consultant, so when their LifeTimez program/disc went on sale, she let me order a set using her discount. I love it, because I can try a layout out (I know that sounds awkward, but I couldn't figure out how else to reword that, lol) without committing to buying any papers, embellishments, etc. Plus, if I don't like the way something turned out, I can just delete the page or switch things out without having ruined any copies of pictures or whatever. Then, if I really like the way it looks, I can just copy it for real.
