We found out yesterday that we participated in a "Secret Santa" event, though we didn't know about it ahead of time! Unfortunately we are the Santa and someone else is the only one receiving a gift - a very large one in fact. The only "secret" is that they know our identity while we do not know theirs!
Jason went on-line to pay our credit card bill, which we pay off every month. He noticed a very large charge - $599.00 to be exact - that we did not make. Neither one of us has lost our card, so we are unsure how our number got stolen. The last place Jason used his was at a Chili's restaurant three weeks ago, though I used mine to buy Peyton's portraits, gas, and groceries. The cards are cancelled, so their shopping spree was ended. Merry Christmas, whoever you are!

Oh, that's awful! Did you have to put a fraud alert on your credit report or cancel your drivers' license? Hopefully you won't have to pay for the person's little shopping spree!
