Bi-Lingual Challenges

A few weeks ago I was completing a phonics page with D on which he was supposed to choose the final letter that would make a correct three-letter word. The first two letters were "se" and "t" and "m" were the choices for the final letter. The little stinker pointed to the "m" and said, "This makes a word in Slovak." Yes, it did. And so go the challenges of a child learning (and learning about) two languages at the same time.
