One day as I was on fb I saw that someone had created a summer fun list. I really liked the concept. It is easy to let the summer slip away without doing the things you'd like to do. Of course we also knew the boys would be heading to 10 months of local public school so our next summer will be rather short. I came up with a list of things we knew we were going to do or things I thought would be fun to do. A couple things got added along the way.
So here is our list from the summer.
Home-made Popsicles
Saturday at Maglodsky's
Bubbles
Budapest with Pastor D.
Pizza/Movie Night (New Movie)
Devin Castle with Ms. ML
Bratislava Castle
Salzburg, Austria
Cave Tour (we did several)
High Tatras
Water Gun Fight
Krakow, Poland
English Camp (2)
Spišs Castle
Brno, Czech Republic
Boating or Swimming in a nearby town (we ended up doing both!)
Skype with J&J and cousins
Tenting with Daddy
Vienna Bus Tour
Bike Ride
The neatest thing about all the locations on the list is that they are less than 5 hours from our house! Definitely a benefit of living in the Heart of Europe! Instead of driving to Ohio or New York, now we're driving to Austria or Poland. I'm thankful that our boys get the opportunity to see so many places that many Americans only dream of seeing.
Now we're all excited for our 2013 summer list. We haven't started it yet, but I think we might begin creating it soon. We're hoping we might be able to add some visits from family in that list. We'll see!

Wow! That was a great list & I'm so glad you were able to smoosh all that fun in before a ten month school year (YUCK!).
