Okay, false alarm. Mr. Munch decided to come down from his lofty perch to chew on a few more leaves. This afternoon he went back up to the roof and made his webby attachment. When we came back from Slovak tutoring he had turned himself around and attached his lower legs to it. As I was trying to video him, he dropped down into the "J" position. I'm not even sure if I got it on video because it scared me a little bit. I took a few pictures and will try to post them tomorrow. It should now be about a day before he forms his chrysallis, which for a monarch is basically the process of splitting his skin! I hope we get to see it, but we have AWANA tomorrow night so we might miss it.
Thanks to Steph's reassurance this afternoon and the progress he's made today I'm feeling much better about our science lesson!
