Tonight after AWANA I asked Jason to drop me off at CVS, which is on our way home. I got my first free items! I bought two bags of Chex mix (unfortunately my only choices were regular or cheddar) and used two coupons I had printed off the internet (thanks to moneysavingmom). Even the cashier commented on it!
I think our CVS might run different sales than the ones moneysavingmom posts because I had a couple other coupons all ready, but the items either weren't on sale or did not correspond with the coupons she had linked with the deal. I guess I'll have to go online each week to double check that particular store's ad. They also don't have the kiosk which prints out extra coupons.
There is a Walgreens going in right across the street though, so I'm thinking the competition might make the deals even better. Plus it will be easy to hit both stores in one stop. That's assuming my guys won't mind sitting in the van after AWANA every Wednesday night since other than Sunday that's usually the only other time I'm in town. We do live in the country, after all!
