Adding Insult to Injury

You are probably aware that I am on complete bed rest (well, in theory anyway). As of today, I am on day six.

Because Gavin's birthday part got snowed/freezing rained out, a couple relatives have stopped over to give him his presents this week. Yesterday my uncle and Grandma came over. Grandma's presents were definitely a hit - a Thomas kite, a set of new cars, and a Thomas watch.

Gavin is absolutely fascinated by his ability to open up the little flap with Thomas on it and look at the time. So much so that he does it very often, sometimes only minutes apart.

So as if time didn't crawl by slowly enough on bed rest, I now have a five year old who likes to give frequent updates on the time. It's going to be a long couple of weeks! :)
