After four hours of sitting in the hospital lab, one finger poke, and three blood draws, I found out this afternoon that I passed the three hour glucose tolerance test. Praise the Lord! I guess the factor that threw off the original one hour test was that I ate breakfast (frosted shredded wheat) before I went. I wasn't told to fast, but I know I didn't eat with my other boys because I was afraid it would throw the numbers off.
My fasting number, which was taken by finger prick, was 81. I knew that was a good sign since the nurse said it should be between 75 and 90, so I was hopeful the other numbers would be good as well. It is a relief to know I do not have gestational diabetes!

Praise the Lord, Dellie! I'm so glad your numbers came back good. One less thing to be concerned with, huh? How is everything else? Have you had more contractions? And how are you doing with your drinking problems? ;-)
