Potty Progress

Peyton is slowly making progress in the area of potty training. I must admit this is one of my least enjoyed parenting tasks, though when it is over the victory is sweet.

He hasn't been doing too well in the stinky department, though he is now telling us right away when he needs to be changed. This is an improvement because only a short while ago we had to discover it ourselves.

If we put him on the potty he will now wet, which earns him an M&M. I think he finally understands the mechanics of wetting so now we have to work on him initiating going potty. I know that stage can take a while and I'm actually more interested in getting the stinkies in the potty at this point!

I'm still hopeful that we'll be pretty much done with potty training by the time the baby comes. I hope that's not wishful thinking!

Yay for Peyton! Any progress is progress indeed, right? I'm sure you can get it mostly whipped or completely whipped before #3 arrives. Like I know anything about it, but I wanted to encourage you ;-)
