- Our house (which we rent from a former church member) is now on the market. Thankfully we haven't gotten any calls for buyers to look at it yet. We are supposed to get 24 hr. warning, but there is something about the thought of people looking in our closets and cabinets that has me stressed. There are no safe hiding places like when company comes! :)
- We are hoping to have another yard sale, despite the cooler temps. This will probably be our last chance, so hopefully it will do well. I did some more sorting/packing in the basement last week and found some more items to add.
- Peyton continues to recover from his surgery. As long as we kept medicine in his system, the first few days actually weren't that bad. Then came Thursday, the day the bandage had to come off. Suffice it to say it was not a pleasant experience for anyone despite the two bath soaks and liberal application of petroleum jelly. After that he got very nervous about diaper changes and kept making comments like, "No more bandage." and "Don't touch it." and "Don't hurt me, Mommy." Not things you want your two year old to look at you and say, but I'm still grateful we did this now. Each day it is looking better, though it will probably be another week or two before things look "normal."
- I think I am starting to feel a little better! I'm almost afraid to write that! It seems the sickness is not quite as constant as it was before and I have been able to eat more than before. I am still hopeful that in another week or two it will be behind me!
I think that's about it for now!
