Can Something Work....

.....too well? Well, apparently that is the case with some items.

Jason lost his set of keys, complete with house keys, a church key, our deadbolt key, and a thinger-merjobber-clicker for our van. He then lost our only set of van keys at church, which we didn't realize until after everyone was already gone. Thankfully he found them after searching for a while. I decided I was going to get him something that would help him track down his keys (in the future, obviously).

I decided to catch a deal on E-bay by bidding on a key finder key ring. When you whistle it beeps and has a red light that flashes. It's not too large, came with extra batteries, and was a fairly good deal. I latched it onto the van key set almost immediately.

One problem: It senses the boys' various sounds as whistles. So just about every time Peyton says something or makes a sound, it goes off. It happens for Gavin every once in a while too (probably when he's whining). Then this afternoon I think my voice set it off!

It is now sitting on the book shelf in my room, ready to make it into the collection of garage sale hopefuls sitting the basement. And we've only had it for two days.
