Relief!

As I write, it is 61 degrees according to my computer. After seeing 88 on my computer yesterday afternoon, it is quite a relief to have some cooler temperatures.

Even though I only had two small units (since the largest and most effective is still staying cool in the basement) and a fan running yesterday afternoon, the thermometer in the hallway said it was 78. One half of the house was cooler than that, but the other half was warmer. I realized though, it really is a matter of perspective. Since I knew it was so hot outside and that is was ten degrees cooler inside, I realized I really should be grateful.

Besides, probably half the people in the world don't have, or don't use, air conditioning. We really are spoiled!
