Potty Training Update
I mentioned before that I bit the potty training bullet and put Gavin into big boy underwear. There has been some extra laundry as a result, but the plastic pants I bought before have helped quite a bit (at least when he's had them on!). He's been dry through every nap - until yesterday afternoon. I'm not sure what happened, but think he might have drunk he soymilk too close to nap time. Last night he actually stayed dry the whole night! That hasn't happened very often, and not at all lately. During the day we are down to one accident a day, usually. Sometimes two. When we ask him if he needs to go, he will say yes sometimes now. Other times he suggests it on his own, so that is encouraging. Hopefully it won't be much longer before he has this conquered.
Jason bought a Thomas set with lots of little train cars and engines at a yard sale last week. Instead of giving them to him all at once, he gets to pick one every time he has a dry day. So far he has one (well, two, if you count the one we took out so Peyton could play too!). He would have had one yesterday too, but nap time got him. He is motivated to earn more, so hopefully the extra motivation will help. I hope!
