My Little Garden Helper

Today I felt ambitious and decided to head to Walmart to buy flowers and seedlings. Well, there wasn't much out, but I did get some pansies and a cherry tomato plant. Once we got home I put Peyton down for a nap and Gavin and I headed outside to tackle the garden plot. Thankfully there weren't as many weeds as I thought there would be, but there were still quite a few. As I was digging up dandelion plants (whose flowers thankfully haven't opened yet!) and various and sundry other nusicances, Gavin showed me a dandelion he had picked from somewhere in the yard. He then proceeded to "plant" it in the garden. At first it wouldn't "fit", but after a few tries he finally found a place he felt was just right. This after he said it was so pretty and yellow - which in his mind makes it perfect since his favorite color seems to be yellow. I'm not so sure my little helper is actually helping! Our efforts seem a little counter-productive!
