Come On Over!

If anyone wants to give me a surprise visit, now is the time to do it.

We had company over last night and enjoyed a great time of fellowship. In preparation for this I gave my tile floor a much needed, on hands and knees, scrubbing. The mop just wouldn't have cut it. I'm not sure how much time I spent in the bathroom, but I invested nearly two hours on the kitchen floor. It looks good, for now. I got an all purpose cleaner (that's wonderful by the way) and went at all the dusty places, pictures, electronics, etc. I also bought a new shower curtain at an Ace Hardware that is going out of business. At half off, I figured it was worth it. Gone is the curtain with three holes torn through, soap scum, and a corner that likes mold despite washing and bleaching. Yesterday morning I filled my bathtub and washed the two sets of kitchen blinds. Now that I see how clean they are (and how dirty they were) I'm motivated to do the rest of the house.

So if you want to stop in you have exactly one day to do it, because that's probably the length of time it will be before everything is dirty and disorganized again!

I can so relate to this! ;)

BTW, we had a very nice time. I appreciate so much the effort that you put into helping me learn more about the Ukraine. It makes me want to leave tomorrow!

Now how come you didn't tell us this when we were actually close enough to come for a visit?! :P
