1. You will get to see a different part of the world and it's ensuing history and beauty.
2. You will/may be out of your comfort zone. (That's a good thing.)
3. You will learn about another culture or people group.
4. You will see the spiritual needs in another country.
5. You will know how to pray for that missionary more effectively.
6. You will be a blessing to the missionary. (hopefully - more on that in another post.)
7. You will understand the difficulties or challenges associated with living in another culture/people group.
8. You will be a blessing to the nationals as they see your willingness to visit and/or serve in their country.
9. You can share what you've seen/learned with your church, friends, and family so they gain a vision for world missions and their part in it.
10. The Lord may just call YOU to vocational mission work.
