Nanny Needs a Nanny

The other night Dawson was disturbed from his sleep (with the help of a brother). He started calling for me, so I went in and began getting him settled back in. I layered his blankets like I normally do and reached for the next one to put on top.

Suddenly Dawson says, "Nanny's blanket!"

"What? Is this Nanny's blanket?"

"Yes."

So I dutifully put the blanket back on top of Nanny with just a little bit of it sticking out. Dawson was so delighted, he gave a little giggle and did his customary wiggle which means he's all snuggled in for the night.

You may be wondering who/what Nanny is. Nanny, as it is affectionately called, is Dawson's most prized blanket. It became his companion at the hospital shortly after his birth.

Apparently even Nanny needs a nanny.
