Relieved

This morning as I was cleaning the boys' bathroom tub, Peyton was observing me. He thanked me a couple times for cleaning it for them. I should probably note that it was pretty gross since I had washed their car seat bases in it - hence it contained dirt, crumbs, and everything else that collects underneath the pads.

When Peyton has an accident (which is normally during nap time and becoming less frequent) I have instructed him to throw the wet clothes in the bathtub. So this is what he says next...

"Now I can put my wet underwear in there and it won't get dirty."

I'm relieved to know that wet and smelly underwear aren't already dirty.
