Last night we received an answer to prayer - a sending church. This is something we have needed for the past two years now so we are thankful to no longer be orphaned missionaries!
The church we are currently attending voted unanimously last night to be our sending church and to give us monthly support. They will also provide a quarter of our outfit and passage expenses which is a huge blessing.
We are truly excited to have this church behind us. We have felt very welcomed and supported in so many ways and we know we will continue to be prayed and cared for in the coming years.

Adele, I am so excited about you news! I didn't like thinking of you guys as 'orphaned' missionaries either! This church does seem to be full of loving people & I'm so grateful the Lord led you there. I can't wait to see what else He does to clear the way for you guys to get to the field!
Oh, good! I'm so happy for you! The last hurdle! I've been wanting to call you, but have been so busy and now today I'm babysitting so maybe tomorrow?

Man, I am just so far behind in reading and commenting -- congratulations on finding a sending church! I know this is a huge burden lifted from your shoulders. When will you be by our church to visit during deputation? :P (did I mention to you that our Pastor's cousin(in-law) is head of the ABWE? Or maybe he's just on the board of directors or something. I can't remember now... I blame mommy brain.)
