My dr.'s appointment yesterday was rather uneventful. Lately I've been having afternoon appointments which means a longer wait. When the nurse put me into the room, she told me I would be seen by another dr. because my dr. was in the process of delivering a baby. Thankfully I had a good book with me for the waiting room and the exam room, so I didn't mind the wait quite as much! I did end up getting to see my dr. because the woman only had to push one time. That would be nice!
I only gained one pound this week - that's good. I'm not real happy with my overall weight gain though. For having a goal of gaining the least amount of weight this pregnancy, I've now surpassed my previous pregnancy weights with a couple more weeks to go. I'm going to have to put forth some real effort this summer, that's for sure.
Everything else was good as well - blood pressure, measurement, and heart beat. I won't get another internal for two more weeks, so I have no idea if I've progressed some more or not.
It is nice to be on bed rest, but now I'm feeling like I can't keep up with everything! I'm trying to get some rest time (no time for naps) in each day because otherwise I pay dearly at night with soreness, etc. I learned that my first day off bed rest when I was out and about with the boys. One day shy of a month on bed rest certainly had an effect on my body!
Today I need to do some serious laundry folding! I have two and a half weeks of clothes to fold and put away. Yikes!
