As I was checking e-mail, etc. this morning, I suddenly heard Peyton crying upstairs. I assumed there had been some squabble between the boys, but I was wrong. Peyton had stubbed his toe on the Thomas the tank engine case. I cuddled him for a little while and admonished the boys about running around the living room.
Peyton got up from my lap, but was walking on his heel rather than his whole foot. Gavin asked him which toe hurt. Peyton told him it was his baby toe so Gavin asked if he wanted him to kiss it. Of course Peyton said yes.
Gavin bent down, planted a kiss on Peyton's baby toe, and asked him if it felt better.
Sure enough, Peyton said yes and started walking normally again.
Gavin must have miracle working kisses!
