WI Dells

We enjoyed a nice weekend together as a family in WI Dells. We were there from Thursday early afternoon until Saturday evening, Labor Day weekend.

The catch was that we had to endure a time share presentation, but we actually got through it in 70 min., which we couldn't believe. We learned to not ask questions and to not act overly interested. Thankfully the lady we had was very nice (which did make us feel a tad bit guilty) and she did not pressure us at all.

With the deal we got a $25 gift certificate to Chicago Uno Grill, a three day/two night stay at Mt. Olympus and a $25 Visa gift card. We only had to pay $119, plus tax for the whole thing. What a great way to get an inexpensive vacation! We packed our own food so we ate that for breakfast and lunch. We only went out for our dinners (and one was with the certificate).

Mt. Olympus has just about anything you can ask for - roller coasters, kiddy rides, water slides, go carts, bumper cars, game area, batting cages, indoor and outdoor water areas, and shops/restaurants (which we avoided!). It is a pretty family oriented place, besides the music. Thankfully the music only plays in a few areas so you aren't inundated with it as at other theme parks.
