We arrived home safely Saturday night around 9:00. We thank the Lord for the safety He gave us as we traveled from the midwest all the way to the ocean (which we even got to swim in one day!).
This week is VBS at our church. We have the children's program in the morning from 9:00 to 12:00 and a teen program from 6:30 to 9:00. Since we have an evangelist's family running the program we were saved a lot of planning time. On the other hand I've been coordinating the food and meals necessary to host them and we have their intern staying in our home. Jason is doing the missionary story which they normally do as a skit. We didn't have the man-power to do it as a skit, so he's been memorizing the entire thing and doing it alone.
We had 16 teens at our program last night, which included eight boys we have never had before. One of them accepted Christ as His Savior. We are hopeful they will all be back tonight. We have also had a girl coming whom we have been inviting since we arrived here four years ago (our "anniversary" is in one week!). These meetings have been her first time attending - and she is enjoying it! Her mother passed away a little over two months ago and this may be what the Lord is using to work in her heart.
We appreciate your prayers as we minister to children/teens this week!

Wow! What a blessing to have 16 teens! That must be such an encouragement -- and to have one saved, too! :o)
Glad to see you made it home safe & sound. I've been checking every day to see if there's something new!
We're starting our VBS tonight so it looks like it's a busy week for both of us!

Keep up the good work, Dell & Jason! You guys are a wonderful example of dedication & faithfulness. I'll be praying that you'll have the same kids & that you are able to observe some learning & growth & definitely more salvation decisions!
