Flight 93

Jason and I watched this movie last night.

Let me first say, it is extremely clean. I don't remember any swear words. I suppose I could have missed one, but I don't think I did. There are no innuendos or inappropriate comments.

The movie was tastefully done. I was unsure if I would be able to handle the drama of it, but they did not overdo it for the sake of a story line. As a matter of fact, I think the reality was probably far worse than what they portrayed.

It shows examples of true bravery, strength, and heroism. This is something that is often lacking in our day and age. When the passengers found out the true intent of the terrorists (through phone calls with family) they took action. They feared what the terrorists planned to do more than they feared for their own lives.

I think it was a good reminder for me. Over five years later, it is easy to forget. Watching this movie made me remember that day. It was a very uncertain and nerve-wracking time for everyone. It made me recall the lessons we learned that day. Life is short. Express love to others while you can. Live life to the fullest (which should mean even more to those of us who are Christians).

I encourage you to watch it, if you haven't already.

I have been wondering whether or not this was one we should see; I'll have to tell Nathan you recommended it :)
