Progress .2
Okay, today I was particularly ambitious. I was rewarded though, well I rewarded myself, b/c I announced to Jason that Taco Bell would be making our dinner for the evening. Thankfully he didn't resist and was even willing to go get it!
First, I sorted through my cookbooks. There are several I have NEVER used, and probably won't. Most of the time if I am looking for a recipe I use the good 'ole internet. I did keep quite a few though, b/c I might not have such ready access to the internet, or even a computer for that matter, on the mission field.
Next I tackled our bedroom. Yes, tackled is a good word for it. I went through my magazines and put half in the sell pile. I put some more books in the sell pile too. I found some stationary I never use, some beginner piano books, and some odds and ends to sell. I also filled another Walmart bag and a half with garbage. I organized our book shelf and went through all the papers I had stuffed here and there. I cleaned everything out from under our bed, went through a bin I had under it, vacuumed thoroughly (the dust bunnies were running and screaming, but I was too fast for them!), and moved the bed to be against another wall. A little variety will be nice since we have NEVER rearranged our house since we moved in almost three years ago (except to make room in the boys' room for Peyton's crib and a toy box).
I still have a few things to put away in their proper places, but for the most part the bedroom is done. I went through my clothes last month and have two garbage bags to give to my sister-in-law or to sell. I may go through them again one more time to weed out a few more things. Less to pack!
What will I work on tomorrow? Don't worry, I already have a couple ideas!
