Got Milk?
Peyton drank his first cup of cow's milk yesterday. I know this may not seem very monumental to you, but it was a big step for us. Since Gavin is deathly allergic to milk, it has been difficult to give Peyton dairy products for fear he will have the same reaction. I've given him yogurt a few times and he had a piece of pizza with cheese on Sunday. Since I haven't noticed any reaction, and cow's milk is certainly cheaper and easier to find than soy milk, I decided to make the switch. I'm not sure he loves it, partly because he's been drinking soy milk along with Gavin for the last couple months, but today he seemed more ready to drink it. So now we watch and wait, since sometimes allergies to do not show up right away. Lord willing, we will not see anything!
