Yes, you are reading the sign correctly - it reads Budweiser. And yes, this is the original Budweiser, made in Ceske Budejovice and popular all over the Czech Republic. For quite some time now the American company which produces a beer by the same name, has been battling with the government (who still owns the brewery even in post-Communism) for rights to the name. I highly doubt they will get their way, but try, and try, try again they will.
