First Steps

Peyton took his first independent steps on Friday night. We were in the kitchen at my brother-in-law's house. We tried to video him, but every time we would turn it on he wouldn't walk. Later in the evening he took several steps in the living room. I missed it because I was talking with someone and by the time Jason got my attention he had stopped. Little stinker! Since then he has taken a step here and there, but isn't ready to take off across the room just yet. Now he has a virus that is causing a high fever, so he's not too anxious to get moving.
